The 1st SAINe Breakfast Event on 11-11-11 was an enormous success with delegates from the IDC, ESKOM, MTN, DBSA and many other companies attending. The presenter, Stafford Masie is a truly dynamic speaker, a futurist, innovator, entrepreneur and that is only tip of the ice berg. He is the ex-CEO of Google South Africa and uses case studies and his own life experience to explain how the world is changing in terms of mobile, ITC and technology.

Stafford is not your typical speaker, but in the while I have been in the innovation space, I have noticed something: Innovators are not typical people either. You are welcome to follow Stafford on Twitter @StaffordMasie

I would like to thank the University of Johannesburg – InntelliLAB and Nico Steyn for providing the ‘innovation space’.

The Breakfast was not only informative, it was  also a perfect networking opportunity -  practitioners could exchange thoughts on relevant issues. It is a chance to meet other people who think like you in different industries and to talk about ideas, insights and challenges you could be facing and get diverse opinions.

For those of you who missed out on this event, this is only the first of many to come. Take the 2 or 3 hours on a Friday morning and join us!
