Consumers decide if they will buy a product or use a service based on their PERCEPTION of how it will meet their needs. The brand, lets us imagine how good or bad the product is, even if we have not tested it!
The benefits of effective branding are sometimes quantifiable, some intangible, but all critical to your growth and prosperity. Bheki Yende is going to share his exploits in the world of advertising and branding. Having previously worked for ad-agency TBWA/Hunt/Lascaris he is now developing his own brand and will tell you what he has learnt along the way.

Enhancing quality and productivity: A workshop by SARIMA

The Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association (SARIMA) is hosting a workshop on Enhancing quality and productivity: Project management for research managers in scientific research laboratories and institutes in partnership with the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa) and The AURUM Institute (AURUM).
The workshop will be held from 26 to 27 March 2012 at the Farm Inn Country Hotel in Pretoria. The workshop invitation and programme and the workshop registration form is attached.
On the last day provision has been made for SARIMA to engage with workshop participants on their training and capacity building needs to ensure that SARIMA’s interventions add value and remain relevant.
